Vision:
Restoring Hearts Ministry has been established to equip believers with a sound, biblical foundation so that they will help to effectively build the Kingdom of God in local and foreign lands. And to provide care for street children by providing orphanages in third world countries.
Mission Statement:
To rebuild and restore the broken hearted and set the captives free.
MINISTRIES OF RESTORING HEARTS MINISTRY:
Many Christians struggle with emotional pain that is deeply rooted in the past. This unresolved pain manifests itself in “OVER-extended” patterns of living. We OVER-work, OVER-eat, OVER-commit, OVER-spend, OVER- spiritualize, and OVER-obsess about love and sex.
HEALING FOR DAMAGED EMOTIONS is an intensive but profitable inner healing class. The participant learns, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to overcome the tyranny of the past. This 13-week class includes teaching, group discussion, weekly journaling, and prayer with the laying on of hands.
The class is based on the workbook which addresses these issues:
1. Damaged Emotions
2. Guilt, Grace, and Debt Collecting
3. The Wounded Healer
4. Satan’s Deadliest Weapon
5. Healing Our Low Self-Esteem – Part I
6. Healing Our Low Self-Esteem – Part II
7. Symptoms of Perfectionism
8. The Process of Healing for Perfectionism
9. Super You or Real You?
10. Myths and Truths About Depression
11. Dealing with Depression
12. Healed Helpers
13. Pornography
1992, Fresno, CA. Ministered in jails, county detention centers, and prisons throughout the State of California. Presently, one arm of this ministry is reaching incarcerated prisoners in Lerdo County Jail, Kern County, California offering personal ministry, prayer and teaching the foundations of faith.
The founder and president of Restoring Hearts Ministry brings years of experience in various ministries in missions.
The first outreach began in 1979 in Tijuana, Mexico where we began to see miracles. It was during that time that we also began to celebrate Christmas in the streets of Mexico. A tradition which continues to this day. Two homes have been built in Mexico. One in Ensenada and one in Tijuana for families who previously lived in cardboard homes. With Ministry in many of the orphanages in these cities in Mexico many have heard the Good News, received emotional healing and restoring the children to God.
This ministry has witnessed to Muslims in Russia and has also preached the gospel in Costa Rica. Locally, street evangelizing takes place on a continuous basis. The founder, having received certification from Evangelism Explosion, has witnessed in the streets, the neighborhood parks, has started a church in the run-down district of a city and has also food to homeless.
